Our History
Conestoga Cigar Company began on a cold evening when three friends found themselves doing what cigar lovers everywhere know too well—standing outside, enjoying a good cigar, and wishing the season were a little more forgiving. As the weather turned colder and indoor options became limited, a simple, lighthearted thought sparked something bigger: Wouldn’t it be neat if the cigar lounge could come to us, instead of us always going to it?
That question stayed with us. What started as a casual idea soon became a shared vision—to bring the comfort, atmosphere, and camaraderie of a traditional cigar lounge directly to the people who enjoy it most.
Based in Millersville, Maryland, Conestoga Cigar Company now operates as a mobile cigar lounge rental service for private and corporate events. We focus on creating a relaxed, welcoming environment where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy a quality cigar without worrying about the weather, travel, or logistics.
At its heart, Conestoga Cigar Company is about hospitality, conversation, and creating space for meaningful moments—wherever the evening takes you.

Our Name
The name Conestoga is rooted in history—and in cigar culture. The Conestoga wagons of the 18th and 19th centuries were known for carrying people and goods across long distances, and the wagon drivers were often seen enjoying long cigars along the way. Those cigars eventually earned the nickname “stogies,” a term still used today.
That double meaning felt like a natural fit for us. The name Conestoga honors both the wagons themselves and the cigars associated with the men who drove them. Just as those wagons brought what people needed directly to them, Conestoga Cigar Company brings the cigar lounge experience to you.
As we build a mobile cigar lounge out of a trailer, that connection between the historic Conestoga wagons and what we’re creating today feels especially fitting—a blend of tradition, craftsmanship, and movement, carried forward in a modern way.
